2001 Swamp Buggy Queen

Desirée is a 16-year-old junior at Naples High School, where she is on the Honor Roll and member of the Key Club, among other activities. She enjoys the beach, playing guitar and is looking forward to her first "mud bath" in the World Famous Mile O' Mud sippy hole following the swamp buggy races March 4, May 20 and October 28, 2001. She will also appear at a variety of public events throughout the year, representing our unique motorsport. She will be receiving a scholarship for her post-secondary education.
